Our first assignment with Kelly Services was to show how Kelly helps hardworking, talented people find new job opportunities and advance their careers. Jennifer’s video shows how Kelly helps professional and technical workers, e.g., scientific and engineering professionals, find new job opportunities and advance their careers through nontraditional channels.  

The video about Siphan represent a key mission of Kelly to support veterans as they transition into civilian careers.  In fact, Kelly has recently made available a new “Translator Tool,” which helps veterans find work by matching their military experience with jobs that align to their military background. 

The videos are being promoted on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. In addition, Kelly has an employee advocacy tool called Everyone Social that enables their full-time employees to easily share content such as this across their personal social channels. It builds internal excitement and exponentially helps drive social engagement.

We teamed up with Mike Rowe and ZeroCancer.org to create this PSA where Mike Rowe actually gets a prostate exam from his actual doctor. If you’re a man, please, get yours checked regularly.

Go-Gurt had been a go-to for kid snacks and lunches for decades. But it had a big problem – it was impossible to open. Schools started asking Moms not to pack GoGurt anymore. Facing a sales decline of -9% last year, Go-GURT redesigned their packaging to make it easier for kids to open on their own. We needed to reveal the big news just in time for Back-to-School. We leveraged the insight that the new packaging created a generational divide between kids who had endured the challenge of GoGurt’s early packaging, and the new generation of kids who would never know the GoGurt struggle. We created Tim and Charlie, two seasoned fourth graders who share their salty, sage observations of how easy the next generation has it. 

AliveCor is a health tech company pioneering AI 'machine learning' techniques. They have released the world’s first FDA cleared mobile EKG device, KardiaBand - providing early detection of atrial fibrillation, the most common arrhythmia and leading cause of stroke.

As a true health tech first that integrates with the Apple Watch®, AliveCor is earning headlines, recently being named as one of Fast Company’s 50 most innovative companies. 
To increase the company profile, they needed to raise awareness and amplify the news of KardiaBand’s groundbreaking technology in the business community.

We created “The Unknown,” highlighting the realization that the only thing everyone knows for sure is that they want to be here tomorrow, and that KardiaBand can play an important role.

New Belgium Brewery recently launched Fat Tire Belgian White, their first new Fat Tire beer in over 25 years. It was specifically created to have a superior flavor profile to that of popular Belgian White competitors, which are too sweet and artificial-tasting while Fat Tire Belgian White was created by Belgian style beer experts, crafted with the perfect sweetness, and the fresh and natural taste of real oranges. It's also lighter and easier to drink. Which is important for our target drinker. They purposely seek out higher-quality alternatives, and while they’d like to step-up their sophistication, they find the craft beer category intimidating and confusing at times. They tend to panic-pick more mainstream domestics, imports, or entry-level crafts that ultimately leave them unsatisfied. We created a campaign designed to educate them on the attributes of Fat Tire Belgian White, using an authentic Belgian to curmudgeonly explain how Fat Tire Belgian White is a better, more satisfying choice.

Fruit snacks were once considered a healthy kids snack, but with the rise in better-for-you food trends, they had lost their health halo. Fruit by the Foot & Fruit Gushers were now declining brands in a declining category, ironically losing share to fruity candy that targets teens. We needed to break out of the fruit snack rut and reposition our brands as a fun treat for teens. But with decades of being for little kids, we needed to earn the right to hang out in teen culture. Our approach was to celebrate our brands through the lens of each treat's uniquely fun form. For Gushers, we highlighted our hallmark gush. For Fruit by the Foot, we focused on our impressive length. 

Astral Tequila is a unique spirit made from 100% organic Blue Weber Agave and hand-crafted using methods reminiscent of the way tequila was produced 150 years ago, a process which takes 8-10 times longer than industrial brands. Our clients at Davos Brands wanted to promote the launch of Astral using their partner and pop culture icon Jonathon Goldsmith. We created “This Calls for Tequila”, a campaign that launches with 10 unique videos where Jonathan toasts life’s most legendary moments with the most fitting tequila, Astral. As the brands distribution goes national this Spring, the work will roll out in sequence around key cultural moments for our target audience, with new work featuring Jonathon launching later this Summer. 

We’d been working with New Belgium Brewing for about 6 months when they told us about a new beer they were working on, bringing together hops and hemp to create a truly new, great, and dank experience - the world’s only HPA. They asked us to name and brand this ground-breaking liquid. Of the hundreds of options we presented, the clear winner was "The Hemperor". Aside from naming, we also created the Hemperor character, a strong, playful and benevolent ruler of all things hemp, illustrated him, and brought him to life in the launch campaign for the product. The Hemperor HPA debuted in a few metro areas on 4/20, and is currently going into national distribution. The campaign launches near Memorial Day on mostly digital outlets such as YouTube, due to restrictions on advertising hemp based products.

Our first work for Lucky Charms goes back to the brand’s roots and reestablishes children’s never-ending chase for Lucky the Leprechaun and his favorite cereal. 

Noble Vines was in a difficult situation. How to dramatically raise awareness of their family of wines while not acting as if they’re trying to raise awareness. Our urban, young adult target is turned off by “mass wines,” preferring instead to unearth and discover new lesser-known wines. But the reality is they don’t really have the time or interest to learn deeply about wine. They often choose by label design, ratings at shelf or recommendations from friends. Noble Vines wine labels carry a prominent number, identifying the distinguished vine stock that the grapes come from, some originating from exceptional vineyards in Bordeaux, Burgundy and Alsace. We knew we needed to give more meaning to our numbers and to get our audience to see that Noble Vines is the ultra-premium wine that identifies itself with the most prestigious vine stocks for superior, highly rated wines. We created a simple campaign using Noble Vines striking red numbers and little else to pique interest and allow them to discover Noble Wines – and the meaning behind our numbers – all on their own. To help build our artisan, crafted image, we used local artists from California to create our numbers in their unique style of art to draw our audience in to seek out more information on KnowTheNumber.com

This led us to create our “Pick your Mix” campaign, which highlighted the truth of the customizable mix that lives in every bag of Chex Mix, while also letting people share their own personal mixes on Facebook.

ONEHOPE Wines is an incredibly unique wine producer who gives a portion of profits from each bottle they sell to a different charity. They wanted to build awareness and increase sales of their wines with a small digital media spend while fully explaining what they do that sets them apart. Our work was able to achieve both tasks using a spoiled rich kid character who embodied the exact opposite of everything that ONEHOPE stands for. The films garnered nearly 1.0MM impressions in its brief 4 week run, surpassing the brand’s goal by 24%, and delivered an impressive 94% completion rate.

GUSTO is an HR provider that needed reach Human Resource leads of small to mid-size businesses to grow brand awareness and consideration. Knowing that these HR people are the ones who know everything, keep everything running and do most everything, we created a campaign starring Kristen Schaal as a character named Zoe, the HR lead of a mid-sized business in just six weeks, brief to air date. The spots follow Zoe through a relatable number of situations that an HR lead goes through in an average day.  The integrated campaign reached its goals within weeks of launch, driving a 103% increase in brand awareness, a 24% increase in consideration and a 703% increase in searches.

Chick-fil-A needed a campaign to launch the new Egg White Grill breakfast sandwich and boost their breakfast business overall. And for the first time in over twenty years, they didn’t want to use their long-running cow campaign to do it. We went right at the main tension point of asking people to consider eating chicken for breakfast, something thought of as a bit weird by most. Our campaign, titled “Chicken for breakfast. It’s not as crazy as you think.” used historical figures to draw comparisons between their own great accomplishments and eating chicken for breakfast. According to the research firm Sense360, Chick-fil-A’s breakfast promotions helped the chain take considerable market share. Between June and October 2016, Chick-fil-A’s share of the breakfast market jumped 16 percent nationally while Burger King’s share dropped 4 percent, Taco Bell dropped 3.4 percent and Starbucks dropped 2.5 percent. And according to Sense360, Chick-fil-A’s share in the quick-service breakfast market is now neck and neck with Burger King’s. “Burger King should be very worried,” Sense360 wrote, “so should the rest of the industry.”

The MTV Movie Awards are the one movie award show for the fans. But over the years, there’s been less interest in the event, with a steady decline in ratings and overall interest since 2011, hitting an all-time low in 2015.  So, to promote the show, hosted by The Rock and Kevin Hart, we decided to let the fans themselves actually write the promos. We held the world’s largest live stream, from ten phones at once across Facebook Live, YouTube, YouNow, Periscope and Meerkat. Over 4 million people tuned in as our hosts took direction from some of the 388,000 fans who engaged across every social media platform. We created over three dozen pieces of original content to promote the show on TV, digital and social media.The broadcast drew over 3.5 million viewers, a 54% increase over 2015, with online activity up over 100% from the previous years, making it the most successful MTV Movie Awards promotional campaign in history.

Steve was part of the large, multi-agency team that created and promoted Small Business Saturday while at CP+B.

Eric was responsible for leading KAYAK.com’s “Search One and Done” campaign.

Steve managed the Burger King account at CP+B from 2004 to 2008, and was involved with all the work in the US and Europe, including Whopper Freakout.
